Coppell TV Repairs offers a REPAIR SERVICE for the ZSUS (X-MAIN) sustain board shown on the picture.
A REPAIR SERVICE means you have to send us your board that we will attempt to repair, test and return back to you.
There are several different ways the board fails and several different failure symptoms.
What you should know to protect yourself from making a mistake is that the board does not have its own fuses. It receives power through the YSUS board (you will find that if you follow the power cable) and the fuses there are serving both the YSUS and the ZSUS boards.
So fuses are NOT the most reliable way to find a bad board, as is in many other cases.
That said, the most common indication for a failed ZSUS board is a very dark, grainy image, with blotches slowly growing on the screen when the image is more static. If you have that it's almost certain you have a bad ZSUS yet still not guaranteed.
Other times ZSUS may fail in a way that shorts the Vs power line and prevents the TV from starting up. This can also happen on the YSUS so symtom-wise it is the same thing; the difference is that if it is the the ZSUS that is bad and you disconnect it from the YSUS (take away its power) then the TV will be able to come on and stay on, either with completely dark display or with same very dark/grainy image. This often can't be done with the YSUS because taking power away from it also means taking power away from ZSUS and that has two issues - first you wouldn't know which of the two is the bad one and second many power supplies require that at least one of the boards is connected in order to reliably come on and stay on.
Typical processing time for the repair is within two business days; if we have any probems that require more time (be it overload or technical problems) we will contact you with an update and request for more time.
We have a fairly high success ratio, but we still do not guarantee success; if we can't get the board to work, though, you will not need to pay.
Presently we do not charge in advance for repair services.
Instead, once the board(s) are received, tested, found to be defective, serviced and tested again to success we send a payment request to the customer.
If something along the process - such as unexpected difficulty or finding a board to be functional - arises we contact the customer via email and/or phone and disscuss options.
Minimal charge / diagnostic fee
If a board arrives and is determined to be functional we charge up to $25 for diagnostic fee.

We ask that the board arrives here in good physical condition and without traces of tampering. If someone (other than us, that is) has already attempted to service the board then please contact us with a description/pictures and do not directly place an order. We reserve the right to refuse service to boards that have signs of repair attempts.
